Only current staff members of Julius West and construction staff will have access to the building. There will be no summer school nor any other “outside use” of the building during Phase II. The main entrance will be shifted to the bus loop (east side) of the building, as well as all staff parking.

This solves our most pressing crowding issue.Ĥ Phase II: (Summer 2014) The main parking Lot will be closed one week after the last professional day in June. Interior work in the cafeteria will begin this Spring Break (a construction barrier will be set up) with completion by next school year (August 2015).
Cedric Boatman, JW Cluster Security Coordinator will collaborate with the Montgomery County Fire Marshall to provide new student emergency evacuation routes (if needed for Phase I ).
All outside areas will be reserved exclusively for current Julius West staff and students. Off Limit Areas for Phase I include the entire footprint (foundation) of the new addition, and an adjacent construction equipment staging area.ģ Phase I: (Cont.) One or more ball fields, and/or paved playground surfaces will be reduced in size or restricted in use.
